KFV cases are held on by rivets which will need to be drilled out in order to remove the case.

Rivet Positions(35,40,45mm) - Top to Middle:40mm  Middle to Bottom:90mm

Rivet Positions(55mm) - Top to Middle:65mm  Middle to Bottom:65mm

Operation: Key wind

Latch reversal: Depending on the date of manufacture either:

• Push in the latch and undo the screw in the back of the lock case, remove the latch, reverse and reinsert
• Push in the latch and undo the screw in the side of the lock case to remove the latch, reverse and reinsert.
• Pull down serrated button to rear of case and at same time pull out and reverse latch, sometimes the serrated buttons are held in place by
• a tiny travel pin so the serrated button will need to be pushed down hard with a screwdriver to break the pin.
